El Colorado Lodge - Family Reunions
The El Colorado Lodge specializes in family reunions and large and small groups. During the summer season from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend we require a three night minimum stay for groups reserving four or more cabins. For groups booking cabins more than one year in advance, room rates may be subject to change (not to exceed 10% of original quoted rate).
The Lodge will place a hold on designated rooms as determined by the group faciliatator to allow individual group members time to confirm the individual cabin reservations. For advanced bookings the reservation deadline is January 15th.
The Lodge requires a deposit for each cabin reserved in the amount of one night's room rate plus tax. Deposits are paid at the time the reservation is made. We accept major credit cards or a personal check, if the check arrives in the mail prior to the reservation deadline. The deposit is applied toward room fees unless the reservation is cancelled.
Because of our small size and a short season, cancellations affect us significantly. A guaranteed reservation constitutes a contract whereby we agree to forego all other reservations: the guest in turn, agrees to assume financial responsibility for those rooms being reserved for them. The closer to the arrival date a cancellation occurs the less likelihood of re-renting the room. For these reasons the Lodge adheres to a strict cancellation policy.
If the reservation is canceled the cancellation fee is $25.00 for each room canceled unless the cancellation occurs within 60 days of the date of arrival. If the reservation is canceled within 60 days of the date of arrival, the cancellation fee is one night's room rate plus tax for each cancelled room and the deposit is forfeited. IF THE ENTIRE REUNION CANCELS, THE DEPOSIT IT FORFEITED.
Each guest is responsible for the full length of his or her reservation. Following arrival, if one or more days of the original reservation are cancelled, the guest remains financially responsible for the original reservation dates and will be charged for those dates.
If there is a cancellation or billing dispute it will be reviewed by the owners and accounting department and the guests will be contacted within two weeks to resolve the dispute.
